Nate Diggy’s All Night Barbeque The Mixtape Volume One Official Release

“R&Beaverton” native and Dismal City crewmember Nate Diggy proudly presents his first release, Nate Diggy’s All Night Barbeque: the Mixtape Volume One. After years of playing shows and moving crowds with his band Sixteen Switches, Nate Diggy’s mixtape reflects on the at once laid-back and frenzied atmosphere of all-too-short Northwest summers. With odes to backyard dance parties, cypher romances, and, of course, weed, Diggy croons a singular blend of silky-smooth 90’s hiphop/R&B over bittersweet NW keyboard pop.

From the bumpin’ intro to “Portland Punch”, the epic crew track that closes out the album, this mixtape is an original. Produced entirely by members of Dismal City, this is not your typical DJ mixtape. There are no rewinds and no obnoxious DJs shouting–just song after song of Nate Diggy originals, with a few classic covers thrown in for good measure.
